Dr. Ogis obtained her LL.B at Yasr University (Izmir - Turkey) in 2003 where triumphed as 3rd ranked. In 2013 she was awarded either the Best Student of Yasar University 2013 or Jean Monnet Scholarship in energy field Supported by European Union. Afterwards, she continued her studies at the University of Southampton in the field of Maritime Law. She had successfully finished her LL.M with the dissertation on Powership in 2014. Her interest covers shipping and trade industries including admiralty, various international sale contracts, cargo claims, marine insurance, international litigation and conflict of laws, carriage of goods by sea as well as letters of credits. Dr. Ogis is a qualified lawyer in Turkey.
